Chapter 49. Technology

I have no idea what happened over the weekend. I worked on my project in my room all day on Sunday to make sure it was perfect. I purposely didn’t go to work so I could try to focus.

I knew I’d been mean to Nash on Saturday. That night, I was drunk and had been through a lot, so I took it all out on him. More of the other things were what I wanted back. I liked talking to him about things, and it worried me that he was so cool to me even though I knew he could be different.

Then Chase got into this mess that drove me crazy. What did I do to make him kiss me like that?

Last night I couldn’t sleep because my mind was full of fears and other things. I didn’t understand how boys could wreck my life, but they did. Before I moved away, I didn’t know a single guy who liked me, and I liked it that way. I had to deal with Nash, then Chase, and now Zeus. I also had to talk about my work in a presentation.
