Chapter 54. So Random

"Chloe, I’m so glad you agreed to go out with me." I smile back when he does. "Tell me more about yourself then."

"I’m in my fourth year at Brown, where I’m getting a degree in history by studying early modern studies." He smiles when I tell him.

"What do you think you might want to do when you’ve finished your fourth year?" When he asks, I just shrug.

"I want to keep doing research, and in an ideal world, I’d like to do it at Brown and get my master’s degree." I explain. "Then, I think it would be really cool to either go to graduate school and get my PhD or become a museum curator or something."

"I like the sound of that." When I smile, he nods.

I look at the menu and see that I can order steak with fries. I’d like that so I can eat it with a fork and knife and not look like a slob. I’m dying of hunger right now.
