Chapter 62. Nash
"Nash."
"Yeah, Nash. I just think that you and your roommate are closer than the other guys you live with." He gives a shrug. "Last night, he looked like he was going to stomp me into the ground."
Zeus wasn’t very smart, and none of my friends felt comfortable with him being there last night. I guess they took Nash’s dirty looks to heart.
"I need you to promise me that nothing’s going on with him." He says it quietly, and I start to feel guilty. I’m not telling the truth, and this isn’t fair for anyone, especially Zeus.
Nash might not have been doing anything, but I wanted him to be. Even if I hadn’t, I wished I had stayed with him last night. Nash’s door is never open like that. He only opened it a little bit when he heard Zeus was there, and then it shut like a sealed seal.
"He doesn’t have anything going on." I reassure him, keeping my words even and my eyes on his.
