Chapter 59. Conflict
"This is one of the most strange things that has ever happened to me. I say to myself, "Zeus sure knows when to do things."
"Zeus is here? What do you mean?" I ask the person who told me he was here when I turn around to face them.
"He has just come in the front door. "He stands out like a sore thumb and looks like someone’s older brother," she says with a shrug. "Do you want me to bring him here?"
I tell her, "I’ll be out in a minute." She nods, then leaves and shuts the door behind her. "What did you want to talk with me about?" I look at Nash, who seems just as torn as I do. He asks, "Don’t you want to go see him?"
"Are you ready for me to go?" I ask, feeling defeated. "Tell me, I’m ready to listen."
"I don’t want to get you and Zeus into trouble," he says softly. "I really just want you to be happy."
