Chapter 105. Going for a Run

I stood up from the floor feeling a bit lighter than I was before. And I was not talking about weight or anything, I was talking about mentally and emotionally. 

With me on my feet, I picked up the suitcase that had fallen to the floor and rolled it back to the closet. I made sure to unpack all my things and then I took a shower before heading out. By the time, I was done with all of that, it was already past nine in the night. 

I went downstairs and I ran into Mark and Zach who looked exhausted and like they were just coming back home. “Hey,” Zach said when his eyes met with mine. I could feel the butterflies dancing and maybe because I had been too consumed with everything that have been going on, but I needed to acknowledge the fact that someone had picked me.
