Chapter 111. Last Warning

My heart pounded and as excited as I was, I just could not help but wonder when the shoe was finally going to drop—meaning I knew that something bad was going to happen and I was just wondering when that was going to be the case. 

I sat next to Vanessa an Mark left, I think he was going to find the alpha. The huge room was getting more packed by the minute and everyone here seemed to be important people from everywhere. 

Were Vanessa and the elders really willing to bring shame to the pack all because they did not want me to be Luna? I felt like maybe they were just bluffing and wanted me to leave due to fear or anxiety. 

But what if they were not? That scared me even more. 

I took in a few deep breaths and tried to calm myself but then Vanessa said something that I did not quite catch. At first, I felt like maybe she was talking on the phone or something, but then she spoke again, addressing me directly. 

“I’m talking to you, omega,”
