Chapter 118. My Knight in Shining Robe

The dog was staring at me, slightly wagging its tail as it kept its eyes on me. Its tongue hung out as it made small jerks at the same time.

I was deadly afraid of dogs, I have always been. There was something about seeing a creature that was similar to wolves that could be trained to attack at a single command.

I knew that most of them were tamed but I still believed they were wild animals. Or maybe I was just afraid of them.

“Young lady, eyes up here, I’m talking to you,” The woman spoke again, holding her dog back. And great, now it was barking.

My heart was pounding again and I took a few careful steps away as I tried to find the right words to try to explain myself.
