Chapter 206. Our Fun Escape

Her question was heavy, and I did not like that. But I appreciated it though. I knew that it was something that I needed to think about. I knew that I needed to have a plan b; some kind of backup plan.

“If the plan does not work and they don’t find the footage…honestly, I don’t know what I will do. It has to work. If it doesn’t work, everything goes to sh*t. Zach loses his position as the alpha of the pack, I get thrown out of the pack and Darco claims me again. If this plan doesn’t work…” I was overthinking it now. “It just has to work. It has to.” I forced a smile but my heart was really pounding in my chest and I felt like throwing up. 

“It’s going to be alright, don’t you worry. I’m sure the plan will work.” Sue made sure to assure me. I tried to hear her out, to fully accept her words but I just could not. All that ran through my head was the possibility of all of this being for nothing.
