I clenched my fists to steady my nerves. This was it. There was no turning back now. Taking a deep breath, I reached for the doorknob, praying it was not locked. The handle turned smoothly under my grasp, and the door creaked open. 

Vanessa’s room was pristine, almost eerily so, with everything neatly arranged as if she had not touched anything in days. It looked exactly how I had seen it in the vision, confirming that what I had seen was not just in my head. 

The faint scent of her perfume lingered in the air, making my stomach churn. It was almost as if she was here. It made me even more nervous. 

But I needed to act fast. I stepped inside, closing the door as softly as I could behind me. My eyes scanned the space quickly, searching for the painting that I had seen in the vision, and within a few seconds, I saw it.
