Chapter 83. Tray of Food

Who was I kidding? There was no one coming to save me. I had prayed that particular prayer so many times. In fact, if I was counting, maybe it would be more than a thousand times. 

And yet, every single time, the only answer I would get would be silence. Sometimes, if I was being honest, I would question whether the Moon goddess was really out there. And that if she was, then why did she not help me? 

Was she only there to save the rich and wealthy? The Alphas and Betas? Because we as omegas have called upon her so many times, only for our situations to get worse. Sometimes, some would even die without salvation. 

But as long as you were a werewolf, you just had to believe, right? 

There was no window in this room and I could not tell whether it was night or day. I did know that some time had passed though, I just did not know how much. The fluorescent light in the room lit up the space.
