“You think that your parents would have been proud?” Elder Robert stood to his feet. “Make it make sense. You’re about the first alpha in the history of our pack who wants to defy everything we have stood on by making an omega who you have not even known for more than six months, the Luna.” 

“And so?” 

“You’re impulsive, Zackery, and we’re not going to just sit and let you destroy this pack because of your stupid emotions,” The other elder joined in, and Robert nodded in agreement. 

Zach ran his hand through his hair and mumbled something to himself that we did not grab. Then he turned his full attention back to the elders and asked, “So what are you three going to do about it?” He folded his arms on his chest. “Because believe it or not, I am going to mark Rue as my mate. I am going to make her Luna of this pack.” He smirked, mischief lingering just underneath.
