Chapter 96. Pitchforks

“Turn it off,” Zach said and the driver turned off the radio. The silence in the car was much better, even though, it was awkward, I felt like it was much better than listening to journalists and radio shows talk about the decision that the alpha had made. 

We made it ack to the villa and everyone got down, well, not everyone. The driver stayed in and drove the car away from the entrance of the house and took it to park next to the other luxurious cars. 

It must have been almost noon. For some reason, I was kind of good at telling which time of the day it was. Maybe that was because we had to learn that back at the orphanage. And not purposely, we just knew it because being late for anything back there meant punishment. 

In a place where punishment was given for almost anything, we tried our best to avoid it in any way that we could. 

Ach led the way while Beta Mark and I followed him into the villa. The house was warm and filled with a nice smel
