Isla's POV:

His excessive Alpha pheromone was the first thing I noticed, as I got my senses back. Riley was at peace because of Ezekiel's scent.

But I wasn't. How could I?

He had held me as his captive and was taking me back to the pack. The place where I had made the most dreadful memories. I was doing everything just because of the contract and the curse.

Though, it would sound crazy to most people, but there was some affection in my heart because of the mate bond. I had thought he would respect me a little and value my choices. But he turned out to be the exact same man the packs called him.
