Chapter 61. New Place

Isla's POV:

I froze when I saw Beta Mikasa watching me with suspicion written all over his face. He had intentionally blocked my way so that I couldn't go to the other side. It wasn't like I could out run him if I had decided to just keep going.

"I am going for a small walk. "

I tried to keep my voice as calm as possible and didn't let him take any hint about the storm which was making rounds in my head.

" You are not supposed to go out of the pack. " He said in a very calm voice.

I smiled, " I am not going out of the pack. I will come back within an hour. "

He exhaled sharply and shrugged, " It doesn't make any sense. Whatever is happening or is about to happen. "
