Chapter 60. Leaving Him

Isla's POV:

Destruction. Cries. Loud laughs.

That was all I could hear for more than three hours. My heart was beating so fast from anxiety and fear. I hoped Alpha Caden was safe and everything was under control.

'The witches are gone. 'Riley told me.

I released a sigh of relief and thanked the moon goddess for keeping us safe. All I could think about was my kids and if someone got to know that I was so pregnant.

The lock on the door turned and Melinda entered the room. She was looking so exhausted and shocked.

"Is everything fine? " I asked, meaning both for the pack and her.

She shook her head, " No, nothing is fine. You are betrayed by Alpha Caden. "

The words felt like a loud slap on my face and I shivered with the mere thought.

"What do you mean? "

"The witches were here for your first born. Alpha Caden had promised your child to the Witch to keep the pack safe. "
