Chapter 136. Broken Heart

Jake asked me to enter the house. He wanted to talk to Dean alone. I didn't understand why. Was something wrong? Why didn't Jake tell me that Dean was coming?

I entered the house without protesting. I congratulated Dean on his wedding, and it was the hardest thing I had ever had to say. Who would have thought that he and I would end up like this? He married someone else, and I engaged to his brother. When did everything change so quickly?

I looked at Dean one last time. I think that day was going to be the last time I would see Dean before he got married. I went into the house and closed the door. I waited for Jake on the sofa. His conversation with Dean didn't last long.

He entered the room and took off his jacket.

"What happened? Why didn't you tell me he was coming? What did he come for?"

"He wasn't supposed to ring the doorbell, but he did. He did it to see you, Lena."

"What did he c
