The wedding day arrived, and I couldn't believe it. I looked around and noticed all the preparations in place at my home. The hired staff took care of organizing everything. I was waiting for the limousine to pick me up and take me to the church where I would tie the knot.
I never thought I would marry again. When I married Lena, I believed we would renew our vows in the future, but not that we would each go our separate ways. It was sad, and my facial expression showed it. I was supposed to feel happy. But I couldn't find a reason for my joy. The only person I could think of was Lena. She never left my mind for a single second.
What was Lena doing? Was she ready? Did she apply makeup? Did she look in the mirror? Was she going to attend my wedding? Was Lena thinking about me? Did she change her mind?
