Lena was amazing. I don't know what she had, but her company calmed me to gigantic levels.

"Carla has a high-risk pregnancy, Dean. She'll be in the hospital for a few days to closely monitor the pregnancy. She underwent a high level of stress, which caused bleeding in Carla. We're doing our best to ensure Carla and the baby's health, but when she returns home, she'll have to be on bed rest. She won't be able to get up. If she needs to go to the bathroom, someone will have to assist her, but she can't walk," Lena's doctor's words killed me inside. Not again.

Lena and Carla both had risky pregnancies. My life's chaos deepened.
