Chapter 61. Something Happened
LENA
Zed stopped hugging me. He gave me a few minutes to calm down and helped me get up from the bed. He sat me in the wheelchair.
"Are you ready? Lower your head so you won't be recognized in the hallway. If Dean finds out about this, I'll have trouble with him," he warned. "And so will you. Dean will be furious."
"I don't care what Dean thinks. And don't worry, no one will notice. You said Dean went home."
Zed peeked his head out into the hallway to make sure Carla wasn't there. The last thing I needed was for Carla to interfere.
"It's time," he said.
He took the wheelchair and began walking towards the exit, pushing me. We went out into the hallway. He walked quickly to avoid anyone discovering us. I owed Zed one.
"I have to warn you about something, Lena," he cautioned as we crossed the hallway. Judging by the tone of his voice, I knew he was going to say som
