Chapter 68. Hurry!

"It's this way. It's this way!" I shouted to Zed. They asked me not to subject myself to stressful situations, but I didn't listen. Having security guards behind us was a stressful situation. Zed and I had to hurry to Zed's summer house, or Dean would find us. I knew the doctor would call Dean soon.

Zed opened the door. We stepped outside the hospital. The car was far, but he quickened his pace.

"We have to be fast, Lena. Or they'll catch us."

My heart pumped blood rapidly. I had to clutch my chest to calm down. But running didn't allow me to feel calm. Still, it was the choice I made.

"Hurry!" I yelled.

"That's what I'm doing!"

I looked behind us. We were far from the back exit, but the guards had just come out of the hospital. They would catch us.

"The security guards are coming. They're coming! Fast!" I screamed.
