Chapter 90. I'll Never Forgive You

I knew Lena wouldn't believe me, but it hurt me to do this to her. I never imagined I would have to admit her to a mental health center, but Lena hit rock bottom. I got tired of her jeopardizing our children's lives. She pushed me to the limit by leaving. She disappeared again.

For a moment, I thought she might have told me the truth about Zed. I thought maybe he didn't kidnap her. I shared the idea with Carla, and she didn't like it. She had an interesting opinion about it. I decided to trust Carla's words. She was right.

"How do you think, Dean? I know it's a complicated moment, but don't believe what Lena told you. Zed did kidnap her because you've seen the evidence that he's obsessed with Lena. You've seen he has intentions to kill me. Lena always wanted to leave the hospital, but that doesn't mean Zed didn't kidnap her."

I sighed.

"I know, you're right. I feel over
