Winter’s POV

That was how I became the Alpha’s daughter in a night. It had been six months since the incident that still shook me up to the deepest fibers of my being. It was still etched into my brain like it had just happened yesterday.

More truths were revealed eventually, and it was found out that the said rogues who had killed my biological mother were actually assassins hired by Janna, coupled with the fact that she only kept Dorra in the family because she wanted to use her to do her bidding. Janna eventually confessed to everything after being completely cornered. She was sentenced to execution by the pack’s judiciary for murder, manipulation, and deception.

While the alpha’s relatives and the council were still contemplating what to do with Dorra, she disappeared overnight and no one had heard or seen any trace of her up until presently. My mother, or should I say foster mother, was given a befitting burial per my request.
