Alex's POV

"Glad you are finally awake," I said, relieved to see him conscious again. Kyle slowly sat up on his bed, his expression filled with confusion.

"I had a weird dream. I saw you transform into a big white wolf. That's ridiculous, right?" he said, his voice tinged with uncertainty. I debated whether to deny it or tell him the truth, but ultimately, I knew honesty was the only path forward.

"It wasn't a dream, Kyle. What you saw last night is the truth. Yes, I am one of those creatures you thought were fiction, the werewolves," I confessed, watching his reaction intently.

His mouth hung open, his lips forming an 'O' shape.

"Can I see it again, your transformation?" he asked eagerly. I shook my head, denying his request.

"Only the alpha of the pack has been blessed by the sun god to transform in broad daylight," I explained, trying to simplify the complexities of our werewolf world for him.

I knew it would be a lot for him to take in.
