Alex's POV

As I found myself becoming increasingly infatuated with Nathan, guilt weighed heavily on my conscience. I knew I should be more firm in my decision, but the undeniable connection between us made it difficult to resist his charms.

Kyle seemed accepting of my choice to stay with Nathan, but he had asked me if I was truly sure about it. I had affirmed my decision, determined to hold on as long as I could endure this bond. Being near him did have its perks, like the parks we could visit together.

The next day, we made our way to Nathan's mansion once again. I was grateful to still have my job and the opportunity to be close to him. After parking the car in the expansive parking lot, I entered the mansion and began climbing the staircase. I hoped Nathan was still asleep because the last time I entered his room, I found it difficult to control my desires.
