Alex's POV
I gaze at Nathan, demanding an explanation for his behavior. However, he remains silent, leaving me standing there alone, lost in my thoughts, fixated on the floor.
He's acting possessive, jealous as if he wants to claim me as his own. Nathan gives off the impression that he cannot bear the thought of sharing me with others, as if I am someone he simply cannot let go of.
But perhaps I'm reading too much into it. Maybe he's just confused, experiencing the same old feelings, nothing more than friendship or a means to seek revenge.
Perhaps I've been hoping for too much, expecting too much from him. Foolishly, I've convinced myself that he now has feelings for me, that he's attached to me. But in truth, I'm only deceiving myself. He would never develop feelings for someone like me.
