Star mused as she dabbed her mouth with the handkerchief in her hand, her head placed sideways on one of her hands on the desk as she stared out into space in her office. She was grateful she had no outstanding case to deal with, so she didn’t have to feel guilty about not doing her work and thinking of the shitty drama going on in her life.

Her throat ran dry as she continued thinking, but she couldn’t be bothered with going out to get herself a cold drink to quench her thirst. How could she just be natural with him? Eric had told her to be comfortable with him as if she knew nothing of how he felt for her. 

She shook her head, scoffing at him. She was not that insensitive. He was a werewolf. No, scratch that.
