I rose up from the floor and bolted back into my car. I fumbled around for my phone and quickly grabbed it. With shaky fingers, I dialled Clint’s phone number and impatiently waited for it to ring as I placed it to my ear.

“Pick up, please,” I muttered as I bit into my fingernails.

I heard a click, and my heart skipped a bit.

“Keira? It is rare for you to call me at this time. What’s up? Is everything o-”

“Clint!” I yelled without giving him space to talk. “I-I do not know what to do. I need help. He knows where I am,” I blurted out in a frantic state.
