Chapter 50

From the sitting room window, Fabian watched as Isla and Rebecca got into one of the luxury cars in the garage. He wasn't working at the company today. He waited for the car to amble away and then quickened his footsteps to the garage. He got into his car and steered it in the same direction as their car had gone. But he gave them a good distance so they wouldn't suspect anything.

As soon as he was out of the estate, he sighted the car he'd hired and the driver in the front seat. It was parked at a corner. If he followed them with his car, they could suspect he was the one. Briskly, he keyed his car engine to a stop, climbed out, and got into the hired car.

"You know the direction the black car went, right?"

He saw the driver nod in the rearview mirror.

"Now, follow it so we don't lose it.
