Chapter 85

Lorenzo coughed and sniffed. His head hurts. Rebecca pressed her palm against his neck. His temperature was high.

“The doctor will arrive soon,” she said.

Since last night he had not been feeling like himself. He thought that he was just stressed out from work and that by morning he would start feeling better. But he was morning already and he was already worse.

“It hurts me to see you in this state, honey,” Rebecca said. “I told Paige to bring a bowl of water and a towel for me. I believe that that being on your skin will help cool your temperature. Spending the time, the doctor will be here.”

“Thank you my love.”

Lorenzo couldn’t remember the last time he’d fallen sick. He jammed regularly, ate healthy and took cannot supplement as prescribed by the family doctor, Karl. He couldn’t quite figure out what was responsible for his sudden sickness. There was knock on the room door.

“Come in,” Rebecca said.

Page came in with a bowl of water on
