Chapter 21

Stella

Stella needs to stop getting involved with guys who say they don't want anything serious, that falling in love is not in their plans anymore, that they are going to focus on their studies, master's degree, doctorate, or whatever the guy she's with is doing. They say they don't want any more distractions that might hinder them from having a good future and all their things in order. She has only gotten involved with guys who don't have much going on in their heads or at least don't have plans for a more stable future regarding women. I see her and I feel like fighting, getting up, wanting to do something to bring her nothing but smiles.

The one who was able to break her, to shatter her into pieces, to bring down her petals and bring out her fears, was just a jerk. I wish Stella was someone else and not me, I wish Stella wasn't the girl I've known for years, the girl who makes me smile and with whom I get along perfectly. I wish I wasn't that girl,
