The car Lucien was in stopped, and he stared at the building of the Kenaco Institute.
He had made plans with Anna before he found out what he did.
He was supposed to take her out for lunch since she finished with her practice earlier than on other days, but now he had to cancel.

He was thinking of an excuse to tell her that wouldn’t be a lie, but none was coming to his head.
He was fueled with anger about what he had just discovered and wasn’t thinking as straight as he wanted to.

He had found out that the team his head of security had assigned to search for Anna’s whereabouts when she was kidnapped had lied to him about who was behind her kidnapping.

He saw Anna come out of the building and stand by the side of the road to call him.
