Chapter 15. Fate

Braze’s POV

“Stop. Please stop. Please don’t shout, I am not here to hurt you. I need help.” I was trying to tell her through my gruff voice but my words drowned when I accidentally pressed the hot water button in the shower.

It didn’t feel much when it fell on my back but the moment it touched her fair, naked skin, I could see scalding, instantly.

Nobody could blame her when she went out yelling again, and screaming as I fought hard to stop the water that had caused all the mayhem.

Within the next few seconds the guards were at the door, ringing her bell.

She grabbed her bathrobe and ran towards the door knob.

I don’t know if it was the urgency of the situation or my new found abnormality, but I literally flew past her and held the doorknob before she could unlock the latch.

“I am not here to hurt you.” This time I articulated perfectly. I fell on her feet but she jumped back, possibly thinking I was a perverted being.
