Chapter 17. Facing Din

Around 8:45 a.m., Jessie received the address for Din's company. In truth, it was the beep from her phone that jolted her awake.

She'd resumed her talk with Taylor and they'd eventually gotten around to arranging the room the night before when Din abruptly ended the call before she could say anything else.

Taylor had advised her to visit him and at the very least hear his side of the statement before finalizing the divorce.

Jessie, on the other hand, was terrified of what would happen if she went to see him. She despised the man she was now married to, and she was well aware that if they ever met again, they would fight.

She reprimanded Taylor for everything that had occurred. Din Cooper would not have married her if she hadn't gone to Vegas.

She sighed and pushed her hair out of her face.
