Chapter 87. I Brought You Chicken

Shawn was waiting for Din by the doorway when he got home, so he picked him up and carried him inside. It had been a long hour for him, but he was glad he had the chance to figure out how to keep Jessie under control. 

He approached the fridge and took ice and Coca-Cola from the freezer. The maids were constantly asked to leave during this time so they could return the next morning to finish their work. 

They shouldn't spend the night at the mansion, according to Din. 

Din had only kept two maids ever since Jessie's accident, having previously had a few more. Even before he discovered that she had been lying to him the entire time, he worried that the house might be too crowded for Jessie to stay in when she returned home once she had fully recovered.
