Chapter 26. Crazy and Crazier

My heart is acting so crazy, and as she volunteered to carry Dahlia back to her room to sleep, she lightly touched my skin, and my whole system just lost it.

I was nervous the whole time she went near me, and as she walked away to look for my daughter's room, I immediately touched my chest and felt the beating of my heart. It was fast.
