Chapter 33. Cadence
CADENCE
"I told you I'm not interested in your company, dad. Let Colin handle all of that," I complained as soon as I saw my dad waiting for me.
He suddenly told me that he was going to visit me, and I already knew what he wanted from me. I don't even want to go back to that city; I want to stay here in Paris and study multimedia arts until I graduate.
I got in the van, and he followed.
"Your brother is going to get married in three days," he said, and I was so surprised to hear that. Since when did my brother even date a person?
"So you're just here to pick me up for the wedding?" I asked as I rested my head on the window.
"And I need you to handle the company."
Here we go again.
"Look, I'm not really interested in your business. Dad, I don't even know how to speak simple business talk like you," I complained even more.
