Chapter 35

TWO WEEKS LATER.

It's late in the afternoon. Melisa is in the huge mansion garden, watering the plants, when Ajdin's car arrives. Ajdin just returned from a business trip. He was not in the mansion for a few days. Melisa can't stop missing him even though their situation is not like a normal husband and wife relationship. She knows that Ajdin will arrive today, so she stays in the garden for a moment to wait for him so that she can reach out to him. She wants to talk to him even if he ignores her. She hopes that Ajdin will change her feelings about her. That is why she keeps talking to him to please him. She hopes Ajdin's hate for her will still subside and not last forever. However, he avoids and ignores her if she asks for his forgiveness.

Melisa knew she shouldn't greet Ajdin or talk to him because he would ignore her, but even so, she still greets him when he walks across the garden where she is.

"Ajdin, how are you?" Melisa g
