Chapter 73

When Melisa woke up in the morning she didn't see Ajdin in their room. Her hands were untied. However, she saw outside the window of their room that the maintenance facilities in the mansion had installed a heavy duty lock that seemed hard to open. As a result she rushed to the door and checked if it was locked. She noticed that the door lock had been changed too. It is certain that she will not be able to open the door or window locks easily. She feels irritated because she has no way out. She cannot escape from Ajdin like before.

She notices food for breakfast on the bedside table, a brand new cell phone and a note from Ajdin."Melisa, I'm heading to work. Eat breakfast. That cellphone is for you. I'm hoping that you have a change of mind to run away from me. I'll make sure you can't do that again." And there is a smiley at the end of the note.
