I checked my phone to see if there was any message from Ken, but I couldn’t find any, which means that he hasn’t left a message since we last texted each other this morning. The staff meeting ended around 12:30 PM, and then it was time for our Lunch Break. Yeah, we spent so much time in the conference room, don’t only natural that after the staff meeting, it should be time for a rejuvenating lunch break. I’d wanted to have lunch with the rest of the staff in the cafeteria or maybe order something to be brought up here to me in my office. But I got a beep on my phone and Ken offered to take me out for lunch. I know I need to begin with the files on my table, but I just have to accept his offer because this is a perfect chance to step away from work, relax, and recharge.
