Chapter 6
Emma watched Sebastian clean his bruised knuckles as he kept a victorious smile on his lips. He had won in the hand-to-hand fight against the leader of the rival gang, and he made them aware that if they at least returned to the surroundings in which Sebastian's gang commanded, the result would be much worse. Emma still felt a little scared, but she felt completely absorbed when the men just ran away when they lost. She was strangely glad that Sebastian had been the victor.
She got up from the hood where she was still sitting and took the handkerchief from Sebastian's hands when he himself tried to wipe the blood that oozed from his opened eyebrow.
"So this is you for real?" Emma asked, intent on the cut, cleaning it.
"You asked me to show you, are you scared now?"
"Not like when we got here," she glanced briefly into Sebastian's blue eyes, but shifted to his chin, which was also bleeding. "Are those men coming back?"
