Chapter 5
Emma wanted to ask what they would do, but Sebastian just turned his back and walked away. The girl spent the rest of the day thoughtful. She could barely work with the thought of what Sebastian had planned to do to her at eleven, but when the clock struck five, it was Ramon who was there to pick her up and take her to the house.
"Are you going out with the boss today?" he asked, curious.
"I think so. Do you know where we're going?"
"It's a surprise," he smiled. "But I didn't know you cared about thugs. If I had known, I would have invested."
"Don't talk nonsense, I don't care about anything," she crossed her arms, listening only to the sound of Garcia's laughter.
"But you can't even tell me? What should I wear?"
Ramon just shrugged. "Wear what makes you most comfortable. But protect yourself from the cold."
