Chapter 13
Emma patiently waited for her daily ride. It was at the usual bus stop. There was a midterm exam that morning, but even that fact was no longer a priority for Foster. In her mind, all that hovered was Sebastian and how with each passing day he became more and more handsome and attractive.
When she saw Sebastian's car finally appear at the head of the street, her smile brightened. People who always passed by at that time already looked at her and judged her, but Emma didn't care anymore. What mattered was that her parents didn't know about those dates and rides.
When Sebastian stopped the car, Emma was the one who opened the car door and got in, throwing the bag she always carried in the backseat as she yanked her seat belt and finally looked at Sebastian.
"Hey," she said.
That morning, the man was better looking than the day before, but he had a small cut on his eyebrow, which made Emma think that Sebastian had been involved in some fight.
