Sebastian remained beside his beloved.

Emma continued to pretend that she was sleeping, but slowly she pretended to be waking up from her coma. He yawned and blinked, really getting used to the whiteness of the room.

Sebastian looked up when he saw the machines that were constantly beeping changing, but before paying attention to something that was wrong with his beloved, he saw her move slowly. Immediately Sebastian got up, ran to Emma and smiled, happy to see her awake.

Emma still had merely lifeless lips. His body was still getting used to recovering from the excessive blood loss that had nearly killed him.

Emma sighed slowly, finally looking up at him.

Seeing Sebastian smile hurt her. He was there for himself, but only because something so brought to a peak of emotional distress had happened.
