I wasn’t convinced that Alpha Jaxon was going to agree to take me on a run, I could hear the hesitation seeping from his voice, especially because I was still recovering from a rogue attack. I had been pleasantly surprised at how easily I was able to sway him with a few sappy pouts. I figured my best chance of getting out of this room was to ask him to take me. Truthfully, I had never been one of those shifters that needed to run or their wolf would take control, like my sister was. A run through the forest once every few days satisfied my wolf, keeping her calm and at bay. Bailey was the same way, although we replaced that need with treks through the forest. Admittedly, it was more so to check out the male wolves in the pack but the fresh air didn’t hurt either. I wasn’t sure what had come over my wolf, she had enough energy to ravage the entire forest.
