I sped through the brightly lit night in the forest with exhilaration beaming through my wolf, she was happy and had no other care in the world. The cool night’s breeze tingled through my fiery red fur as my legs pounded against the forest floor with great speed, I could hear the raspy yips of owls mixed with the cooing howls of other wolves off in the distance. I gave full control to my wolf and let her run wild in her primal form, I couldn’t remember running feeling this free since the first time I had shifted. I could hear the faint echo of water running somewhere nearby and perked up my ears, thankful for my shifter hearing. My wolf picked up her pace effortlessly leaping over the thick tree logs and rugged rocks on the path determined to reach that body of water.
