Harper's POV
I don't respond, because I'm lost on what to say.
“I shouldn’t have let you take control of this in the first place,” he mutters, pouring himself a drink as if this is just another quiet afternoon. “You’re too emotional. You always think with your feelings.”
I don’t answer. I keep my face calm, even though my stomach is a mess of knots.
