Mason's POV
There’s movement in the hall that wakes me. I hear it before I open my eyes, the soft creak of floorboards and the gentle hush of a voice low in the dark.
I blink against the dim light filtering through the crack in the door just as it eases open. Nathan steps through, shirtless, his arms full of her. She’s curled against his chest, eyes barely open, her face tucked close to his throat. She doesn’t speak, but her gaze flicks toward me as he carries her across the room.
“It’s still early,” Nathan murmurs to her, his voice quiet so it won’t wake the house. “I’m putting you in Mason’s bed. Get some more sleep, alright?”
