Chapter 76

Unice’s POV

Eight months have passed, and I’m working from home because my tummy is large. Fortunately, my ob-gyn is guiding me through this process. I discovered my child is a boy in my recent ultrasound, and I told Ace about it. He was happy that it was a boy, and he told me that he would teach him good manners and that he would not allow him to be like him. We can see each other during Ace’s treatment in the mental hospital, which Dr. Henry allowed us, for which I am grateful.

“Do you want some hot chocolate with marshmallows?” While typing on the laptop, I heard Zoey ask me a question; she has the day off today, and it’s Friday.

“All right, give me some hot chocolate with marshmallows,” I responded, returning to my laptop to type. I’m currently working on a contract to open a new shop, and I assigned Mr. Daffe to go there because I can’t because I’m pregnant.

I paused typing and rubbed
