Chapter 206

Valerie Will POV

I waited for Patrick to come out of the car before going into the house. I was scared as we entered because I had no idea what we were walking into.

But when we stepped inside, there was no sign of anybody. I called Celeste’s name a few times, but she didn’t respond.

Patrick checked all the rooms and couldn’t find anybody. My head was already spinning as I thought of the worst possible scenarios.

“I told you that she was in danger:” I whispered as I sat down on the couch. “Where could she be?” My voice cracked as I continued.

Patrick’s jaw was tight. “I don’t know, but we need to leave here right now.” He said, his tone sharp. “We need to go back home and be with the kids.”

My lips parted and I blinked. “The security guards won’t let anyone pass the gate, we need to stay here and find Celeste.”

Patrick exhaled sharply. “The police will find Celeste. What if the people who took her come back here for us?
