Summer’s POV

My palms curved into fist as I tightened my grasp on my sleeves while I was watching Steven and Hailey walking away from me. I didn't remove my sight from them, especially when I saw how Hailey threw a proud and triumphant smirk while making words using her lips without sounds.

"You can't win against me."

My heart clenched with needles penetrating the most crucial part of it... well, what's new? Steven squeezed my heart again until it dropped the last blood from it.
